Introducing Janet Farrell, our new Director of Digital Services. Janet comes to us with a love of innovative thinking and years of experience delivering successful data-driven marketing campaigns both in-house and on the agency side. We sat down to ask her some hard hitting (sort of) questions to help you get to know her and here’s what she had to say.
Do you have any nicknames we should know about?
Not really. People typically call me Janet. I loathe the nickname “Jan,” although my close family and friends do call me that on occasion.
What are your favorite and least favorite foods?
I love to eat and love ALL food, but Italian is definitely my “can’t live without.” I’m not the biggest fan of super spicy foods. And I could probably subsist alone on a good, crispy loaf of bread, olive oil, and cheese.
What is your favorite part about working in Digital?
I really love that no day is the same as the one before it. There is always something new to learn and do and it keeps me motivated and excited.
Why did you choose RDW/Incentric?
I’m really excited to join the RDW/Incentric Digital team and I’m especially looking forward to working with such an experienced group of innovative thinkers and have the opportunity to work with some really interesting local and national brands who are doing great work!
Cat person or dog person? Why?
Cat person. I do like dogs for sure, but I just didn’t grow up with a family dog and have never really had one of my own. My husband hopes to convert me to a dog person one day soon.
Favorite karaoke song?
I’m not typically one to sing karaoke, BUT “Hold On” from Wilson Philips would be my top choice, possibly a cliché choice, but hands down my favorite.
What’s your background (educational)?
I earned my BA in Communications with a minor in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
What else should we know about you?
I’m a mom to two amazing kiddos (Benjamin, 5 and Evelyn, almost 3) who keep me very busy and exhausted!
Welcome Janet! Looking forward to innovating new and exciting digital solutions with you.
